Cameras planned around what you actually need to see

Most camera systems disappoint because of placement, not hardware: a lens aimed too wide to make out a face, glare from a porch light, a blind corner by the back door. Before we quote, we walk the property with you and decide what each camera's job is. Some need to identify faces at an entry, some need to catch plates at a driveway, and some only need an overview of a yard or lot.

Your quote lists every camera and where it goes, so you know exactly what you're paying for.

Security camera and CCTV installation, start to finish

Whether you call it CCTV, a surveillance system or security cameras, the job is the same: the right cameras in the right spots, cable run cleanly, a recorder sized to your needs, and an app that works on day one. We handle the whole installation ourselves. That means the site walk, cable runs, mounting, recorder setup, motion zones, alerts and the phone app, plus removing and patching old cameras when we replace a system.

Wired, local, and yours

We install wired PoE (Power over Ethernet) cameras. Each camera runs on a single network cable that carries both power and video, so footage doesn't depend on Wi-Fi signal or a charged battery. Recording happens on a network video recorder at your property rather than on rented cloud storage.

Our go-to platform is UniFi Protect. It records locally, has no required monthly subscription, and runs in the same app as UniFi networking and door access control. Weighing it against Ring? See our UniFi vs Ring guide, or compare options in security cameras without a subscription.

Remote surveillance from anywhere

Every system we install includes remote viewing. You can watch live video, scroll back through recordings and get motion alerts on your phone or computer, whether you're across Ohio or out of the country. Recording stays on the recorder at your property, so remote access never depends on a cloud subscription. If your internet drops, the cameras keep recording, and you can catch up on footage once it's back.

For businesses and landlords with more than one location, one app shows every site, so you can check a shop in Parma and an office in Westlake from the same screen.

Security cameras for homes

For most homes that means the front door, driveway, garage, backyard and side gates. We set up motion zones so you get an alert for a person on the porch, not for every car that drives past.

Security cameras for businesses

Retail CCTV systems, office cameras and coverage for entrances, registers, stockrooms, parking lots and loading areas. For offices, shops, places of worship and multi-tenant buildings, we plan the cameras together with your network so recording doesn't slow everything else down. We can also tie cameras into door access, so every entry has video attached.

Already have cameras?

We troubleshoot and replace existing systems too: offline cameras, a recorder that's full, blurry night video, or an app that stopped connecting. If the existing cabling is in good shape, we reuse it and keep your cost down.

Google reviews

What customers say.

★★★★★
“Could not recommend enough. I had a security camera installation that also required the removal of an old camera from the exterior of my home. Not only did he take the time to be careful and fill in the area where the old camera was, he made certain to seal the new camera. He stayed to make sure the camera was properly set up. Highly recommend”

Common questions

Security cameras FAQ

How much does security camera installation cost?
It depends on the number of cameras, mounting heights and how far the cable runs are. Our camera system cost guide lists real equipment prices. Every job starts with a free estimate and an itemized quote, and nothing starts until you approve the price.
Is CCTV the same as security cameras?
In practice, yes. CCTV is the older term for a closed camera system that records on site. Modern wired IP cameras with a local recorder are today's version of CCTV, with better video and viewing from your phone.
Can I watch my security cameras remotely?
Yes. Every system we install includes remote viewing on your phone and computer, with live video, playback and alerts from anywhere, and no monthly fee for it.
Do the cameras need Wi-Fi or internet?
No. Wired cameras record to the recorder at your property even if your internet goes down. You only need internet to view them from your phone while you're away.
Is there a monthly fee?
The systems we install record locally, so there's no required monthly subscription to keep your footage.
How long is footage kept?
That depends on the recorder's storage, the number of cameras and the resolution. Tell us how many days you want to keep, and we size the storage to match.
Can you install outdoor cameras in Cleveland winters?
Yes. We use outdoor-rated cameras and weatherproofed connections built for Northeast Ohio weather, and we install year-round.
